You’ll act as the vital link between our clients and our internal experts , turning client needs into clear, actionable briefs and supporting our fulfillment team with meticulous project oversight. FutureProof is looking for a highly organised, person-centred Account Manager to act as the vital link between our clients and our internal experts.
In this role, you are the “Relationship Guardian.” You aren’t required to build the strategy or manage the technical execution of campaigns, we have a Strategist and a Studio Director for that. Instead, your mission is to own the client experience, ensuring the team is briefed correctly and projects are delivered with the “brilliance” our clients expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Go-Between: Acting as the primary point of communication between the client and our internal Studio/Strategy team
Brief Translation: Taking client needs and turning them into clear, actionable briefs for the Studio Director and Strategist.
Relationship Management: Building deep trust with clients and ensuring their expectations are managed effectively.
Project Oversight: Tracking the status of all work. While you aren’t “doing” the campaigns, you are responsible for knowing exactly where they are in the pipeline.
What you your day will look like
A Day in the Life
- 09:00 – Arrival & Set-up: You arrive a little early to settle in, grab a coffee, and prep for the day ahead.
- 09:30 – Team Stand-up: The whole team meets to discuss the day’s focus. You’ll highlight your clients’ priorities and flag any potential “roadblocks” to the Studio Director or Strategist.
- Morning Momentum: You’ll dive into your inbox, liaising with clients to keep them updated and checking in with the internal team to ensure work is moving smoothly.
- The Handover: You’ll meet with the Sales Team for a “Deep Dive” onboarding call for a new client, taking all the notes needed to ensure a seamless transition into the agency.
- Onboarding Excellence: A significant part of your role is guiding clients through our 3-month onboarding window. You’ll be their primary guide, making sure they feel supported and excited as we launch their first projects.
- The Liaison: You’ll spend time translating client feedback into clear instructions for the Studio and ensuring the Strategist has everything they need to hit the client’s goals.
who you are:
- Experience: 3+ years in an agency Account Management role (B2B experience is a significant plus).
- The “Glue”: You pride yourself on being the person who keeps everything on track. You’re organised, proactive, and never let an email slip through the cracks.
- Communication Specialist: You can take complex technical updates from the studio and explain them to a client in a clear, relatable way.
- Onboarding Specialist: You enjoy the “new client” phase, you’re welcoming, thorough, and great at making a fantastic first impression.
